Group Events

~Group Walk and Talks
Ailsa loves to walk in nature and connect like-minded people through shared compassionate conversation.
These walking group experiences have been created for people who know they need to add more self care into their life, and who enjoy walking for their emotional health. It’s not therapy, it’s just a therapeutic hour’s walk in some beautiful locations with lovely people, then a coffee afterwards if you have the time.Extra benefits that may occur on the walks: Seeds may be sown in your mind and form into new ideas, adventures, and ways of being, plus you may meet some new friends!
~Perfectly Imperfect Workshops
Ailsa also created her workshops to connect like minded compassionate folk and to provide them a day where they feel heard, indulged, empowered and inspired.
Her workshops help attendees to delve more deeply into their own stories whilst work individually and within the group during a number of engaging activities.
There is always much laughter involved as well as opportunities to gently move your body throughout the workshop and lots of mindset tools for you to take home with you.
1:1 Work
There are times in our lives when we need someone to bear witness to our experiences and listen to our stories, both positive and painful. Ailsa is a psychotherapist who takes great pride in her compassionate, person centred approach that is uniquely tailored to each of her client's needs.
She welcomes adult clients who seek an empathic listener whilst they unpack their stories and cultivate positive change in their lives.
She offers Walk and Talk Therapy sessions outside in nature around the beautiful town of Stirling in the Adelaide Hills, or down along the beach at Glenelg North, S.A.
She also offers traditional therapy sessions in her two lovely consultation spaces at Stirling and Glenelg.
Ailsa works with clients who wish to address : Grief and Loss, Depression, Anxiety, Stress management, Communication skills, Self- esteem and body image....and other concerns they may have.
She incorporates Health At Every Size® (HAES®) philosophies into her inclusive, respectful therapy that focuses on well-being and self-compassion for her clients rather than focusing on weight.
Her lived experience and specialist training in these areas assists her to hold space with clients who also wish to make peace with their bodies and explore body neutrality.
Author of 'Perfectly Imperfect'
Ailsa is also the author of her book Perfectly Imperfect: Raw reflections on body image, mothering, love and loneliness (that you don’t usually share).
